As long as you aren’t allergic to them, nuts can be great for slimming down. They are a great source of protein and healthy fats. Fat has gotten a bad rap over the years but the truth is that good fats like coconut oil, avocado are extremely healthy for you and will not cause you to put on the pounds contrary to popular belief. Protein also helps stablize blood sugar which can also help with diabetes. The nuts I recommend are almonds, pecans and walnuts in moderation. They make a great snack and dont need refridgeration.

  1. Fermented Vegetables

This popular korean cuisine is one of the best things you can eat for fat loss because it is so beneficial for gut bacteria, whom have a huge role in whether or not your body burns or stores fat. Great sources of fermented veggies are sour kraut, kimchi, and fermented pickles. I also like kombucha which is a fermented green tea. This could be found at whole foods but I spotted it at Target as well.

  1. Kale

Eating Kale everyday is a great way to slim down quickly. Kale is so great for the digestive system and really gets things moving (if you know what I mean). I recommend drinking a Kale shake each day for the best results. Try making one with blueberries and your favorite dairy-free milk! I like unsweetened almond and coconut milk. They are becoming very popular and also a good source of calcium.

If you can incorporate these three foods into your daily routine there should be a noticeable difference when it comes to shedding fat. Remember, take it one day at a time, losing body fat TOO fast is never a good idea! Slow and steady win the race.
